fishing boatPrimarily we will fish from a 21 foot Intrepid Flats / Tower boat with a Suzuki 175 hp outboard engine. The vessel meets all U.S. Coast Guard requirements, and all safety equipment is on board. I also carry a cellular telephone.
You do not need to be an expert. Often we fish for specific species and use advanced techniques, we have fun and I provide instruction and help while we fish. It's your day and I will do all that I can to make it enjoyable. I do appreciate the opportunity to be your guide on your day of fishing.
Yes, and I have the best time and they usually catch all the fish. Please, for safety it is very important to limit the age to a minimum age of 7 years old. Their safety, well-being and experience are my primary goal for a day of fishing fun.
Yes, just let the captain know in advance of your trip. I provide top quality tackle for your use from my sponsors. I take all responsibility for my equipment's maintenance and proper use. However, I do not assume responsibility when it is abused / neglected, then it is your responsibility. All baits and or lures are included for your use. Live bait (white bait-scaled sardines/pilchards/pinfish) when appropriate are also provided and when available, are cast netted daily.
No, the Captains license provides for your daily fishing.
Yes, you are welcome to keep the fish you catch under the state's guidelines and within the species slot limit. When we return to the marina I will clean your catch as part of the service.
I can fish a maximum of four (4) anglers. We are comfortable with two (2) to three (3) anglers respectively. Larger parties can be accommodated, this is done with multiple guide boats. I use handpicked Captains / Guides who are professional and very knowledgeable of the area. Business or corporate charters are welcome and I can provide you with receipts for the expense.
I suggest that you dress for the conditions. A baseball type cap, polarized sunglasses, loose light colored clothing in summer, non-marking soled shoes, warm clothing for spring and fall. If you bring a camera, phone, drinks (in bags) and snacks / food, be sure to put them in water-tight containers to avoid spoilage during the trip. I have a cooler with bottled water / ice on board. Beer is okay, but if it gets out of hand, the trip is over. The captain's discretion will decide. Your safety and my license are too important to jeopardize or lose.
